We are seeking hardworking, committed individuals who desire a farming lifestyle to join our team. Current openings include:
MILKER (part -time and full-time)
This position is responsible for all aspects of the milking parlor operation for the milking goat herd. Tasks include: guide animals through parlor; milk animals; provide equipment handling and operations, clean parlor, etc.
HOURS: Will consider both Part - Time (minimum 20 hours/ week) to Full-time (35-50 hours/week). Early morning and weekend work required.
PAY: Hourly, based on experience. Potential pay range is $14 - $16/ hour.
QUALIFICATIONS:
FARM GENERALIST TEAM MEMBER
We are occasionally seeking additional farm generalists with goat experience or a willingness to learn, however sufficient farm experience, and work with dairy animals and equipment is preferred. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to lift/move water buckets, and other heavy objects - up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, year-round.
- Must be able to engage in physically active work every day.
- Ability to work independently and with other co-workers.
- Sound judgment and commitment to sustainable farm values.
- Bi-lingual is strongly preferred (Spanish and English) and English- speaking is required.
